Terms of Service

Effective date: 11 October 2026

Important: SabeMarket is intended to provide prediction markets involving real money. Real-money deposits, trading and withdrawals must only be enabled when the operator has obtained all required legal approvals, licences and payment-provider authorization. These terms do not themselves grant permission to operate.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SabeMarket, including our website, user accounts, prediction markets, trading features, deposits, withdrawals and related services.

In these Terms, "SabeMarket", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the SabeMarket service. "You" and "user" refer to any person accessing or using the service.

By creating an account or using SabeMarket, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use SabeMarket. You must provide accurate information about your identity, date of birth, contact details and country of residence when requested.

We may request identity documents, age verification, proof of address or other information before permitting deposits, trading or withdrawals. We may restrict or close an account where eligibility cannot be verified.

You must not create an account on behalf of another person, misrepresent your age or identity, or allow a person who is not eligible to use your account.

2. Legal Availability of the Service

SabeMarket may only provide services in locations where the service is legally permitted and all required approvals have been obtained. We may restrict access based on a user's location, applicable law, regulatory requirements or payment provider rules.

You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms represents a guarantee that prediction-market trading is lawful in every location.

We may delay or suspend real-money features if a legal, regulatory, security or payment issue requires us to do so.

3. How Prediction Markets Work

SabeMarket offers markets based on questions about future events or outcomes. Depending on the market, users may acquire YES or NO positions.

Market prices may change in response to trading activity, available liquidity, the market mechanism and other factors. A displayed price is not a guarantee of the amount you will receive when you sell or when a market is resolved.

Before confirming a trade, you should review the market question, resolution criteria, available position, estimated price, applicable fees and any other information displayed.

SabeMarket may use an automated market maker (AMM) to calculate prices and facilitate trades. Prices, available quantities and execution results may change between viewing a market and confirming an order.

4. Financial Risk

You can lose money. Real-money prediction trading involves financial risk. You should never trade money that you cannot afford to lose. SabeMarket does not guarantee profits, winning trades, liquidity or the ability to sell a position at a particular price.

The value of a position may decrease, and you may lose some or all of the money committed to a trade, subject to the applicable market rules and law.

Market prices can move quickly. There may be insufficient liquidity to sell a position at your preferred price. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

You are responsible for understanding a market and assessing the risks before trading. Do not treat market prices as certain predictions or guaranteed returns.

5. Account Balance and Currency

SabeMarket displays account values in the currency stated in the relevant account or transaction screen. Where the service uses Sierra Leone's redenominated currency, amounts will be displayed in New Leones (NLe), in accordance with the applicable currency rules.

Your displayed balance, available balance, funds committed to open positions and pending withdrawals may be different. Funds committed to a trade may not be available for withdrawal until released under the applicable market rules.

We will maintain transaction records and account records in accordance with applicable legal requirements and our operational procedures.

A displayed account balance is not a promise that funds are held in a bank account in your name or that a particular deposit-protection scheme applies. The legal treatment of customer funds depends on the operator's arrangements and applicable law.

6. Deposits

Deposits may be made only through payment methods officially supported by SabeMarket. Available methods, instructions, minimum and maximum amounts, processing times and applicable charges will be shown where relevant.

A deposit is not complete merely because you have submitted a request or uploaded a receipt. Funds will be credited only after the payment has been verified and processed through the applicable procedure.

You must use a payment account or method that you are authorized to use. We may request additional information to verify a payment, investigate suspected fraud or meet legal obligations.

Do not send deposits to unofficial accounts or individuals claiming to represent SabeMarket. Follow only the payment instructions displayed through our official service.

7. Withdrawals

Eligible users may request withdrawals of available funds using the withdrawal methods supported by SabeMarket. Withdrawals may be subject to identity checks, payment verification, security reviews, transaction limits and applicable legal requirements.

A submitted withdrawal request is not confirmation that payment has been completed. A withdrawal is complete only when the payment has been successfully processed and confirmed through the relevant payment provider or authorized payment channel.

We will communicate material delays or problems where reasonably possible. Processing times may depend on the payment provider, financial institutions, verification requirements and circumstances outside our control.

We may pause a withdrawal where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, verify account ownership, comply with a lawful request or address a security issue. Any restriction or delay must be handled in accordance with applicable law.

8. Fees and Charges

SabeMarket may charge trading, deposit, withdrawal or other service fees where permitted. Applicable fees and their calculation must be disclosed before you confirm the relevant transaction.

Third-party payment providers may impose their own charges. We will identify known applicable charges where required. You should review the transaction details before proceeding.

9. Trade Confirmation and Errors

A trade may be accepted, rejected or adjusted only in accordance with the disclosed market rules and applicable law. You should check the order details before confirming a trade.

If a trade appears incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized or affected by a technical error, contact SabeMarket support promptly and provide the relevant transaction details.

We may investigate suspected technical failures, manipulation, unauthorized activity or incorrect market data. Any correction, cancellation or reversal must be consistent with the applicable rules and law, and should be recorded appropriately.

10. Market Resolution

Every market should have published resolution criteria explaining the question being asked, the qualifying outcome, the relevant deadline and the evidence or sources used to determine the result.

Markets will be resolved using the stated criteria and the applicable resolution procedure. We may delay a decision if reliable evidence is unavailable, sources conflict, the event is postponed or an investigation is required.

If an event becomes impossible to resolve under the published criteria, the market rules should specify how the market will be handled, including whether positions are cancelled and funds returned.

Users may submit a resolution complaint through the official support channel. We will review complaints under the applicable procedure. We will not promise a particular outcome before reviewing the evidence.

11. Market Suspension and Settlement

We may suspend a market where necessary because of a material change in circumstances, suspected manipulation, unreliable information, a technical issue, a legal requirement or a concern about market integrity.

Suspension does not automatically mean that a position has won or lost. Open positions will be handled according to the published market rules and applicable law.

Settlement and any resulting credit will occur only after the market has been resolved and the relevant calculations have been completed. Settlement may be delayed where a legitimate review is required.

12. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your password and account access information secure. Do not share your password or permit another person to use your account.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, a compromised password or an unauthorized transaction.

We may apply additional verification or temporarily restrict account access to protect users, investigate suspicious activity or comply with legal requirements.

13. Identity Checks and Financial Crime Prevention

Where required by law, our payment partners or our risk controls, we may request identity verification, proof of address, source-of-funds information or other relevant documents.

We may monitor transactions for suspected fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, account abuse or other prohibited activity.

We may refuse, delay or restrict a transaction where reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations or protect the service. We will comply with applicable rules concerning reporting, disclosure and handling of restricted funds.

14. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including restricting trading, suspending an account or reporting suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

15. Responsible Trading

You should set personal limits and never borrow money or use essential living expenses to trade. Take a break if trading is causing financial or personal difficulties.

Where supported and required, SabeMarket may provide tools for limits, time-outs or account closure. Requests for restrictions will be handled under the applicable procedures and legal requirements.

16. Privacy and Personal Information

We collect and use personal information to operate accounts, provide the service, process transactions, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of information collected, how information is used, when it may be shared and how you can contact us about your information.

Read our Privacy Policy before using the service.

17. Service Availability

We aim to keep SabeMarket available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be available.

Maintenance, network failures, payment-provider outages, security incidents and other events may temporarily affect the service. We will take reasonable steps to address material issues.

18. Suspension and Account Closure

You may request to close your account through the available account or support process. Before closure, open positions, pending deposits, withdrawal requests and other outstanding matters may need to be reviewed.

We may restrict or close an account for a material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, security risks, legal requirements or circumstances that make continued service inappropriate.

Account closure does not automatically cancel legitimate obligations or remove transaction records that we are legally required to retain. Any remaining customer funds will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant account and market rules.

19. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a complaint about a trade, market resolution, deposit, withdrawal, fee or account restriction, contact SabeMarket through the official support channel.

Include your username, the relevant market or transaction reference, the date of the issue and a clear explanation. Do not send your password or other secret authentication information.

We will review complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable period, subject to any applicable complaint handling requirements.

Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SabeMarket is not responsible for losses caused by a user's trading decisions, inaccurate information supplied by third parties, a user's failure to protect account credentials or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law, payment arrangements or operational requirements change. We will publish the updated Terms and provide notice of material changes where required.

The updated Terms will state their effective date. Where applicable law requires renewed consent, we will request that consent before applying the affected terms to you.

22. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute concerning the service will be governed by the laws applicable to the SabeMarket operator and the transaction, subject to mandatory legal protections and any applicable regulatory requirements.

The operator's legal identity, registered address and appropriate dispute-resolution arrangements must be specified before these Terms are used as the final customer agreement.
